      In the distant past of the Middle Ages, the people's beloved King was forced into exile by his evil brother, spawning an era of complete oppression and tyranny. Long Bow Batman stepped in to put down the usurper and restore the true King to his rightful throne. He taught the downtrodden peasants guerilla warfare tactics, trained them in the use of the deadly long bow, and heroically led their successful revolt against the hated Prince's Forces, once and for all ending his heartless reign of terror. Long Bow Batman then returned the king to power and was place in command of the royal army as his reward. The restored monarch rewarded Long Bow Batman with knighthood and new, metallic armor.
